How to voice chat with other players?
By default, the in-game microphone is activated and set to “Open Mic” mode.
Go to Settings > Sound > Microphone to configure your mic’s reception mode.
Go to Settings > Control to customize your preferred keys.
If you’re using controller, access the in-game ESC menu and use LB to toggle microphone reception modes, and RB to switch listening scopes.
If you’re using keyboard, press the N key to toggle microphone reception modes, and the M key to adjust listening scopes at any time.
Push-to-Talk is currently unavailable on controllers.
Where to find the outfits I acquired?
If you got a new outfit, you’ll receive a notification in your Locker accessible from the main screen. Inside the Locker, characters with new outfits will be highlighted with a glowing icon. Simply click on the icon to browse through your new looks.
How to switch the main-screen background music?
You can press the [ and ] keys on the keyboard to change your background music if there isn’t an ongoing match. This feature is currently unavailable on controllers.
Are my Steam friends automatically added as in-game friends?
Please first ensure that you and your friends are playing on the same server node.
If your Steam friends have logged into the same server node on Party Animals, then they will automatically become your in-game friends.
If your Steam friends have not logged into Party Animals just yet, you can find them by opening your Friend List at the bottom-right corner of main screen, choose the “Add New” tab and browse through the “You May Know Them” list.
How to invite friends to my lobby through Steam?
Currently, you can only invite in-game friends to join your game.
